Say what you want about our President Elect. Like all President’s he will be hated & loved at the same time. His politics will be debated long after he’s President. But, regardless of your political opinions, I think we can all agree that his fitness habits are a good example for Americans to follow.
Many newspapers around the country ran an article recently about Obama’s daily fitness habits. As American gets fatter & fatter, it’s nice to have a leader who takes the time to work on his health. For a minute, please put your politics to the side. Doesn’t it make sense that the man who holds what is probably the most stressful job in the world, takes time to exercise? As the article states, it helps him to release stress and has put him in the best shape of his life.
Most of us, including me, can stand to spend a few extra minutes working to burn the excessive calories that I consume. If our President can find time to hit the gym everyday, then we all probably can as well. There are tons of benefits to exercising. Most notable it improves your health and can help you feel better. Here are a few other benefits from the May Clinic.
Someone once asked Zig Ziglar how he found time to regularly exercise. Zig answered that with his hectic schedule he didn’t have time not to. More of us should have the same attitude. I’m not suggesting that we all become muscle heads or gym rats. But rather, take time to take care of you. You’ll feel a lot better if you do!
