Marketing on Autopilot

Have you ever met one of those people who always seem to always be in the right place at the right time?  Often this is with a good sales person who allows you to have your space when making a buying decision, but is there to encourage you when needed.  In my real estate career, this was an art form.  I needed to be in front of my contacts often enough that when they were ready to move they thought of me to list their home or help them buy a new one.  This can be tricky.  There is a fine line between effective follow up and being annoying.

Have you ever wondered how companies & individuals effectively do this and don’t become annoying?  It’s with effective automated follow up!  Let me give you an example from Real Estate.

I’d meet a new contact at an open house, event, the mall, anywhere.  I’d then send that person an email thanking them for their time and reminding them of the services I offered.  I’d then put them into a list so they’d receive my newsletter every month.  I’d also send my list of contacts new homes I listed and homes that I had sold.  Each time I’d send a message I’d have to sit down, write out my message from scratch and then send it to my entire group.  It was effective, but certainly not efficient.  My systems were not automated, there were very manual.

Here’s a better way to do this.  First, have a centralized contact management system that is robust, yet easy to use.  Next, have automated follow up sequences that will send updates to my contacts at predetermined amounts of time.  For these, I’ll need templates of emails & newsletters that are quick and easy to use.  Also, it would be nice to be able to customize these based on what type of contact they are; meaning buyers & sellers receive different messages.  In other words, I want to put my marketing on autopilot.

Well, I have a system that can do all of this.  It’s certainly not just for realtors.  It’s for all small businesses.  The company is called Infusionsoft.  Check out a free demo by clicking here!
