I recently started searching for the model of who I’d like to have a body like and found Daniel Craig. One of my favorite movies is Casino Royale. I think Daniel Craig is a great James Bond. He looks the part of a trained assassin. He’s buff, ripped and looks like someone who could kill you with his thumb.
My friends at Men’s Heath recently posted the James Bond works out. (Check it out here) Askmen.com also recently posted a Bond workout. (Click Here) This one also include a diet plan.
The two workouts are not the same, however both sound very realistic to do. They both require 45 minutes to an hour 6 days a week of exercise. As you can image, both are very heavy with weight lifting. Lots of big movements like Clean & Press or squats. Surprisingly though, neither have a ton of cardio built into the workout plans. I suppose you burn enough calories because of the big movements.
I really like the Askmen’s instructions on diet. Lots of protein, lots of water and not a lot of carbs. No refined sugars or unnecessary fats. They teach you to eat a balanced diet. it seems that many diets now are not balanced. It would have been nice if they added a sample menu, but that’s not too hard to dig up online. (Here’s a good one.)
I encourage you to find your fitness inspiration. Who would you like to look like? You may also want to find a picture of them and tape your face over theirs. A little visualization could go a long way.
